The TWP is plain awful
It becomes obvious from time to time how silly some people are and this week we have yet another example. Kevin DeKimpe does his best to tear down himself, his friends, and our fair Township in this music video where he attempts to show the world what it’s like to be from Shelby Township. Unfortunately, this writer thinks this video is more flop than pop.
In the video “The TWP”, he rips off Alicia Keys’ “New York”, but tries to disguise it as his own, then proceeds to describe his friends as look a likes from the Jersey Shore.The only thing missing is a tribute to Stathakis. All in all, it’s a nice try, but sorry Kevin, it’s just not very creative and a lot less entertaining. Spoofs are funny, but the acting in this video was like watching horribly uncomfortable Saturday Night Live where all of the writers went on strike. Overall, the video quality was good, but the content was poor and the music was worse.
Oh – and please… don’t let Chief Leman catch you smoking pot outside the CVS…
