In Shelby Township, approximately 27% of the residents participated in the primary. That means, in most cases, your neighbor, one each side of your house, did not vote. Many people want to complain about our elected officials, yet the vast majority simply does not care enough to vote. So it is up to just over a quarter of the population to decide what is best for all. I could write an entire article about voter apathy, but today is not that day for that.
